Everybody knows that Bad Man nah tire, Bad Man nah weaken, and Bad Man nuh get exhausted.

But some people that Bad Man knows, are telling Bad Man that they feel rough as fuck come Thursday or Friday.

Bad Man keeps telling these people about the three R's - Rest (and plenty of it), RRRR-eating good food, and RRRR-abstinence from drugs. But is that all there is too it? Do you have any other tips for not feeling like a wreck by the end of the week.

Take Wednesday off. I've had to admit I'm not up to five days and it's better to work four properly than drag yourself thru thursday and friday feeling rough and actually hoping it won't be busy. I figure I only make a little less money this way because the days I do work I work harder. That said I've had about 20 days off in the last month but I blame that on management induced stress. I had a good day today and hope for more like it - nudge nudge.

On a good day, I've got my Zzz's in, warmed down after work the day before, stretched properly in the morning, had a good solid breakfast with time left to digest etc. On a bad day, which is more often than not, I've had 4-5 hours sleep, couldn't be arsed to warm down, given the morning stretch about a minute and a half and not had time to digest my porridge and coffee. Hydration is also massively important.

A track we're releasing is being mastered tomorrow and I've still got a fair bit of work to do on the project file... tomorrow's going to be 'a bad day'. Couldn't be much worse than today.

I recommend taking tuesday to thursday off. 2 days is optimal mixed in with yoga, relaxation, good food and plenty of E.P.O. I asked Overdrive his secret for maintaining his healthy glow and youthful energy and he muttered something about Acai and Rooibos tea. He is an inspiration having worked 5 days for the last 7 decades and even though his birth certificate declares he is 134 i swear he doesn't look a day older than 60.
