    Hi,

This link has an image of a bike that is very similar our Colnago Extreme Power recently stolen. He was racing next weekend so very keen to get it back or see there is any word out there. If people see any Colnago's advertised for sale, please let me know so I can investigate priscillatonkin@yahoo.com

Thanks Papa44, I just couldn't figure out how to load the pic. Had a blonde moment! ;)

Nice bike - ooh, sorry for your loss.

I know! it's devestating. I'm hoping it might show up somewhere on ebay for sale so I can track it down. Keep your ears to the ground if you can!

    :(

if it was stolen in a crack head style burglary i would set up camp down brick lane every sunday. nothing worse than knowing your pride and joy will probably be sold for £50. i actually sat on the curb and cried when i had my first real bike stolen. i was 22, had hand built everything including lacing the wheels and was living hand to mouth as a courier. was luck that cycle surgery gave me a job or i'd probably still be sitting on that curb drinking cans of White Ace from crackneys greatest shop: Cheap Booze

keep an eye on gumtree as well as ebay.

I don't know if anyone would try selling that kind of bike at Brick Lane but maybe it's worth looking out there as well

I would guess that anyone stealling such an expensive bike would get rid of it far away from where it was stolen, and wouldn't take it out on the streets, because it's 'hot'.

Yeah, i've been scouring ebay & gumree and my beloved bf spent all last Sunday in Brick Lane getting to know the traders very well.

It was knicked by an opportunist so god knows if they even know the value of what they stole, that means there is chance it will show up at the bike black market in Brick Lane. I think we may camp back at Brick Lane this Sunday and see what happens.

Poor boy, he really is gutted by the loss but putting on a brave face nonetheless.

Also, Papa44, I can't imagine how sad it would have been to lose your hand built bike, that's so hard. I'm glad you got over it and lived to tell the tale. I hope we get bf's bike back or you might find both of us drinking cans of White Ace!! ;) In fact, we might start this Sunday while in Brick Lane :)

    so... any news?
  9.
No news! The worst thing is someone did call and leave a message to say they had seen the bike but left a mobile number that didn't answer for days. When it finally answered all they said 'it's gone' and hung up!
