We got there in just under 3 hours, hardly touching feet to ground.
I woke up today stiff as a board with several pains and aches... no way could I work. I thought I'd be able to, but there's just no way. Definitely back tomorrow..
Saw no messengers except Chewy, who had just climbed the Ditchling Beacon as we were heading back to London. What a mistake it was to think we could head back on the same route, even at 4pm! We found an alternative route instead and fulfilled all the usual cycling day-trip criteria, awkward punctures, crashing into each other on a roundabout, trying to get on the train with our bikes etc. Lovely day though...
^Where did you see me, i didnt see ya. Yeah, few of use did it brakeless, fun but shit scary at times.Next year im gonna do it on a road bike to try and get a time.
It was madness at times, and the spinning was insane but i learnt a lotabout keeping control legs when going that fast .Saw alot of funny crashes and some not so funny.
