When I worked at Hornets I had two butter sandwiches a day 1 at 1200 and one at 1400, sometimes if I was lucky I'd have a tea as well as water at their HQ in lever st.
Then I got a job at metro and it was cavier, belgian speed balls, champagne, epo and hornets couriers as frequently as I required.
I was going to ask the same question. Having just come back on the road after seven (fantastically successful!) months in the office i'm just getting used to eating trough loads of food again. I eat, usually: two or three croissants for breakfast when i get to work then during the day a bottle of chocolate milk (900 calories), anything up to 12 bananas, a Tesco pasta thing at lunch (or a cheese sarny if it's a slow day). On a really busy day I'll have Mars bars or more chocolate milk as well. I drink strong tea by the bucket load too. In the evening I have a very large plate of pasta or rice with veg. I reckon it's about 4000 calories compared to a recommended daily intake or 2500. And as the week goes on I start to feel almost constantly hungry no matter what I eat and have to eat a lot at weekends. I don't know if this is normal or not; maybe i have a high metabolism cos I can't put weight on to save my life. It's bloody expensive too.
I understand......I have recently upped my weekly milage considerably (no where near the amount I did when I was at metro though). I am also very skinny with high metabolisim and last week I was 'told off' for eating too much as it is expensive.
We now have one chair less in the ktichen and some of my kids toy have 'gone missing'
I'm the opposite... I can't lose weight. You'd think that a diet of water, healthy sarnies, tonnes of fruit, pasta/rice & veg at night and porridge in the morning, plus 50 miles a day more or less, I'd be shedding it. Rather annoying,
All about the steak bakes... yum! But, and correct me if I'm wrong, they wouldn't really come under the 'fuel' category... more like just a well good refill.
