Sidi's are a pile of stinky poo, used them and they didnt last. If you are riding clipped in i recommend just getting a pair of chepo mtb shoes cause all shoes do end up going and for the price u pay on a pair of sidi's(poo)u can have at 2 pairs of actually quite decent shoes.
i uselly go for mid ranged specialized or shimano cause dey iz da shit init blad!
straps and flats!then you can wear wot shoes you want! martin from B.L.B can get nice cheap nylon doubles..... if you nasty colours i got some and they work well!
going to sidi dragons and time attaks over clips and sraps was the best thing i ever did to my bike. only ever used sidis, love them. i'm confused why some people carry a seccond pair of shoes to the pub/ office/ party all you need are sidis.
once mine degraded they lost their stiffness and the soles [even the hard ones] wear away really quickly. this leads to losing the effectiveness of your brass time cleats, which leads to loss of control of your rear wheel. or in my [particularly dramatic] case launching myself head first down hills place.
it was quite funny screwing up expensive floors with exposed screws though
@ sleepy, its got to be around 10 months now, so not long term, mine are newish and made out of fancy materials and replaceable soles. had a scary popping out time cleat moment, but it thought me change my cleats when i think they look worn. all i did was rack my balls on the top tube.
yeah, you should get some. every one knows why lance won the tour lighter more aerodynamic sack. I have taken it to the next level with carbon fiber, i expect to earn about 2 jobs per day more now.
