    These are dark times messengers and exengers alike. On leaving the birdcage last night, ye ol' boozer on columbia rd i found myself surrounded by hipster fakengers. They were doing a photo-shoot of a wall ride (piddly little wall). They had cameras, tripods, fixed wheels, hoods the lot. As i'm practising ahimsa i could only ride through and not even shout abuse like "go home you dirty hipsters you are not welcome round here". Luckily ex-alleycat season winner and hardman simon barnes follwed shortly after. He shouted angrily "your types not welcome round here clear off, go on fuck off out of here before i go get my mountain bike with 700c wheels and hydraulic brakes and my axe and fuck you up". The fakengers took off in a flurry shouting abuse back like "skid skid" and "i'll report you on londonfgss you nasty non media type".

    but no one follows ahimsa, why should you? people in buddhist countries, lay and sangha alike, certainly don't. maybe the jains do, but they don't eat potatoes, so clearly they are mad. :wink:
