I am thinking of riding out to Hillington and entering the winter series circut race this saturday. It shouldn't be a bad ride, closer than heathrow, the race is 35 minutes plus 8 laps, start time 12:30. These things are always more fun with teammates. Anyone else interested?

I won the cat 4 race and got enough points to get a cat 3 license. I don't think that the pack took me very seriously on my 80s bike with shit parts, and by the time they realized I wasn't fucking about I was long gone. People shouted encouragement during the race and everyone was friendly afterwards, no bike snob attitudes. I am going to go back next week and try the cat 3 race. It was about an hours ride from Hackney on the A4020 (anyone know a better route to Hillington?) and they had lockers, showers, and cheap snacks and tea. -Janky
