he got admitted last night b/c of what is probably appendicitus. however, in true NHS style, they can't seem to make up their minds as to whether or not they are going to operate.
he's okay though. doped up on painkillers, so, umm, aiight i s'pose.
visits would probably cheer him up, since he's in a ward full of old mannies. if you want to, whisper me / email me and i'll give you the info.
I just narrowly avoided an american hospital yesterday. I got hit by a cab last night on my last run while moving out of the way for an ambulance. The ambulance stopped and wanted to take me to the hospital, but then I remembered I'm in america where things like hospitals and ambulances cost hundreds of dollars, so I politely declined.
I am well glad to just be at home recovering, and I bet you are too, mister sleepy. Enjoy pogo and good luck getting better!
i hope you're okay nhatt, sounds nasty. the nhs, though rubbish is a blessing of sorts.
gotta say i won't be going back to pogo though :-/ phoned up first and a girl knew what i was i was talking about and said cool come down. when i got there the guy behind the counter was surly to the point of rudeness. we beat a hasty exit, never to return.
I'm so sorry pogo sucked! I'll come make dinner at yours when I get back as an alternative prize.
I landed VERY hard on my tailbone, but I don't think that I managed to fracture/break it, so it shouldn't have been too bad, just $800 for the ambulance and another $300 for x-rays and then more for medication... instead I moped around the house for a few days, drank alot of tea, and take about 5 paracetamol every three hours.
OUCH!!! tail bone injuries are nasty. i think if you can sit down and not feel pain you shouldn't have fractured/broken it, however, the initial shock when you land on it was undoubtably fucking excruciating and not something you forget easily.
