Hey hey ladies, would any of you be interested in a ladies only event? I'm talking racing, skids, trackstands with only us around. It would be great to get some gals entering in the main races, and this could be a kickstart to building skills. If it works out well we could hold it once a month?
Nothing too fancy I guess?, a few prizes, a few drinks, a few cuts and grazes, and mostly a whole heap of fun!
All those in favour, say Aight! A concensus would be a good way of working out if its worthwhile...

Oh, sorry, DeadDrum, did I forget to mention trannies are welcome...so dust off those size 16 lumo-pink fishnets of yers and come join the (after)party.
Jokes aside, the idea is to boost confidence so ladies enter more events. Kim started these style events in NY and it worked a charm.(that lady can skid pretty damn rad!) It would be nice if it worked out here in London.
sounds like a wicked idea if you get full participation niki, though that'll be difficult- there were only 4 [correct me if i'm wrong] ladies in nhatt's lady friendly alleycat.
I would love it if you felt like holding off on doing this till january. I had talked about doing something simular before I left, but never had the time/energy, and have a few ideas and a bit of ground work laid for something like this.
BTW, the girl scene in NYC sucks. Not too many of the ladies are friendly, or the other messengers for that matter. Some really nice young men, but the two (yes that's right, TWO) girls I've seen on the road were visably shocked that I smiled at them (and didn't really smile back).
hey Nhatta, we all be missing you and your great lentil dall get your ass back here quick... nik naks has the drive and the desire but the two of you should correspond on this one its not going to be easy doings, yet i think its a dam fine idea for the two of you to focus your energies together and make this thing happen, plug it good and tight into being a propper fixture on the weekly monthly callender give the boys something to scream about, like pritty fine talented girls who know a thing or two about bike riding...
It goes without saying that, if you want it, MT will publicise any event that you decide to organise. I would also be delighted to offer prizes, should they be desired.
On this topic, Nhatt what was the name of the girl who was last in Alleynhatt?
So what are we looking at for this event ? Wet tee-shirt skids and trackstand pole-dancing? ...or am I getting the wrong end of the stick here? The children in the House of Pistard sweatshop have "volunteered" to forfeit food for a week in order to fund sponsorship.
Chips!? The Pistard kids get a potato each which they can heat up on the radiator in my office ( for a small fee ). On the plus side they get early retirement at 15 without benefits. Sweatshop labour and misogyny aside I'm serious about offering some Pistard prizes.
Hey Niki, I've been talking about doing something like this since I got back from NYC, "Trixie Chix"! Was thinking tuesday nights. Awesome to see something up here. Talked to a lot of women over the BFF weekend and everyone seemed pretty keen. A couple of women approached me after the tricks contest to offer an indoor space for winter that is apparently big enough to goof around in. Wanna combine efforts? Was going to put something up on fgss too.
