    unbelievable. somone nicked over the fence into the yard behind my flats, and stripped 30 bikes of everything that wasn't chained up. i mean everything. forks, bars, brakes, seats, seat posts, cranks, wheels ev-rey-thing. including my bike. 30 bikes. unbelievable. it's like a horror movie. i'm gutted.:sad:

    WHat is left (if anything) of your bike?

    A friend of mine sublets some plush flat near Hoxton. They have a gated courtyard.

    He was up late (4:30am) working on some stuff and heard some noise from the courtyard.

    There were 3 blokes going through all the bikes chained up about to start doing what happened to your bike.
    They had tools on a wheely cart thing.

    HE shouted out.
    The were very unpleasant, probably annoyed at being rumbled.
    They did scarper but obviously had every intention of returning. This was about 9 months back.

    well i guess thats the same thing that happened to us, all stripped except for what the bike chains went round. most people have just a frame and a wheel left. i've got my frame, chainset (probably cos its single speed) and both wheels, as they were chained up. it was in dalston, i live on salcombe road, kind of opposite bardens boudoir. fucking gutted. like everyone else i loved my bike.

    on top of that i'm working 12 to 14 hour shifts for the next 2 weeks so i can't do anything about it..
