Hi - hope you can help.
I recently had my (and my wife's) fixed commuters stolen from our lockup. My wifes is a 52cm silver Condor with suicide brake, but I'm most keen to retrieve mine - a green Mercian.
There are several features about it that are unique, and I'd be most grateful if you'd keep an eye out for it, esp if a thieving scrote offers you one for sale.
I posted a pic on flickr (my mercian in manhattan) taken on a onceinalifetime holiday to NY.

I'd be most grateful for its return - even more grateful for pics of the burglar in hospital with serious head injuries.

thanks in advance for your help.

    What is a suicide brake?
Any photographs of the condor? you know just in case I see that on my travels and know it is meant to be some one elses.

Don't forget to get down to brick lane on a sunday morning and check there. You'll have to do your homework on ebay aswell.

Probably worth putting an add up in the stolen bikes section of cycling plus too.

    Good luck

    Thanks for the thought!
AFAIK a suicide brake is positioned beside the stem. but I could be wrong.
Sadly we have no pics of the condor, but it is a fairly scabby silver complexion, well scraped, black condor logos, and a couple of unique features which make it different from others.
Ive been trawling eBay and Gumtree, but no joy as yet.

I've posted the pic on LondonFGSS as well, but will certainly put it onto Bikeradar too.

Hopefully anyone who is offered either the condor or Mercian for sale will take some details - I'd rather not have an innocent party out of pocket by buying it, then have it reclaimed by me!

I'm off to sharpen my persuasion implements...
