    I'm thinking of going ahead with becoming a bike messenger, after sorting out a new bike, my current one is steel frame and a bit shit. anyway was just wondering if having a driving lisence is a requisite, just worrying as i don't have one, learner or anything, just thought maybe its asked to show for road knowledge or something, cheers.

    No, you don't. There is a courier NVQ, but I don't know anything about the syllabus, or anyone who has one. Not the sort of thing that gets boasted about at the Duke.
