Whats the deal with Gatorskins? Puncture-proof my arse!
I've had two punctures in two days in my front tyre, and its 3 months old.
For £20 I want puncture proof.
For insulting my admittedly small intelligence with misleading labels coupled with my naievety in buying decent tyres, I'm gonna mention the WAR!
Armadillos suck arse too, far too slippery in the rain.

Go for the GatorHardshell, 6 quid more but "harder". Had first puncture in 6 months today on the front. Armadillos are sweet on the back, last one had one puncture in 7 months... But its the luck of the draw, nothings "proof"
i ride whatever i find in the bike shop bin between 23-28, and hardly ever get punctures. watch where u riding charlie!ha maybe youre just unlucky. have fun at citizen fish.
I'm running schwalbe 26" x 2.35" Big Apples. Not had a puncture in over a year. In this business they're unconventional, but I've also had less wheel buckles than smaller tyres. They squash in a nice way and don't lose too much power, even at 20 psi. It's difficult to find inner tubes that are happy to be inflated to 2.35" and as a result have had a few valve leakages. They often squeak like a 70's cop movie chase when taking corners in the right situation d;]
