I just left you a voice message on your mobile phone, but thought I would send an email as well.
I’m getting in touch as I work for a TV production company called Parthenon Entertainment. We’ve been approached by a major broadcaster to develop an observational documentary series about bike messengers, and after making a few phone calls I’ve been informed that you’re the person to contact about the scene. I understand that for many people, being a messenger is a way of life rather than merely a job, and it’s been fascinating to do some research on what seems to be a thriving sub-culture in many large cities around the world. Some searches on You Tube, for example, have thrown up some eye-opening alleycat races!
I was wondering if you might be able to spare a few minutes to talk on the phone to discuss your experiences and also to talk about possible angles we could explore during development?
Looking forward to hearing from you soon, Best wishes, Hannah Veale Specialist researcher – Development"
oh so boring....black and white edging camera angles, some originality please... is this a fucking subject at st.martins or where ever it is these thought lacking budding film producers get their pointless education from.
er er lets make a doco about some people who ride bikes for a living who are also great mates as well...I bet no ones thought of this..
Man Bites Dog...thats a film, black and white. 1993 or 4. Shot on a budget. Dark Belgium humour, very funny.
Theres nothing entertaing about a company named after a building that was built to celebrate the imperial success of war and the crush of a defeated country even if it was about 500 years BC.
sounds like it could be a bit "every friday, the city's most dangerous couriers get together...", but maybe not. and she's kinda cute. give OD her number innit.
