i was told yesterday that former reuter brooks fleet manager Dave Wilding has passed away due to cancer at the age of 47. he was the polar opposite to the stereotypical fleet manager- softly spoken, friendly and helpful he lent an air of respectability to the RB office that it probably didn't deserve. he helped me out with my uni application and no doubt he helped out other riders in ways you would not normally associate with your average fleet manager.
Sad news. I liked Dave a lot. I knew him when he was on the road at creative, and he was a friendly, clever guy who you could always have a good chat with, and who had a positive outlook and sympathetic personality. A genuinely nice guy.
