Yeh, that repair kit / tube fiasco of the other night was alright in the end. I got a load of cider from the offy to walk up Green Lanes with, and was shouting at every cyclist with 700C wheels going by to stop, as I had cash on me but all the feckin shops were shut as it was late.

charlie, don't shout too loud. Cos that's amateur (tube stuff). After a while, one looks to be a professional.obviously you meet many lovely people and enjoy spending time with them. But this is a job. I spend my time, trying to be as relaxed as possible, trying to piss of as few people as possible (being invisible at the lights, rather than scaring mothers and babies) and trying to not fuck around and just knock out the dockets. Just get on with it, I love it often. I hate it often. Just do it and don't talk about it. Don't pre-empt what everyone else thinks about you. Because ultimately you rely on 'these' people to give you the work.

To spell it out, we need less slagging off in this thread and more 'I can rely on you to help me out after I crash and you see it happen' kinda vibes in this thread. Save the slagging off for that other thread about a certain person not much liked it seems by many on here.
