Ok so we all know each other's jaded, weather-worn, down-and-out, burnt out faces, and in this thread you guys are going to name and shame the slowest riders on circuit of 2010.
Please don't nominate any riders without including the following; -Riders company name, -Description or rider -Description of bike
That way we will all know exactly who you're referring to, and there will be no mix-ups.
When you have finished nominating your slowest riders, I'll check the list and decide which one I think is the slowest, second slowest, and third slowest. That way we have an official top 3 slowest of 2010
Enjoy, 2010's slowest riders. Now it is time for you guys to name and shame.
I'm slowing down. Twice early last month, I waited for the lights to change at Holborn Viaduct going west, just turned the pedals at the speed necessary to get through the lights at Gray's Inn Road before they go red and thought, "Fuck! This hurts!" I even checked to see if a wheel was catching a brake the second time. (Yeah, I usually use brakes! What a wanker, eh?) Only happened the twice. Biorhythms? Felt OK since then. If it hurts going the other way - from Gray's Inn Road to Holborn Circus - then I'll start worrying. Less time between the lights, but it's downhill and there's no excuse for hitting those - especially as you obviously can't just jump the bastard most of the time. Few things piss me off like a cunt unnecessarily jumping the Gray's Inn Road light, then either wobbling into my path or (far worse) blocking my fucking gap when I've made the effort to get the bastard things at the Circus. Auld Scottish Pete at Destinations has to be the slowest rider, but he's a lot older than even me. You have to admire him for being out there at his age.
Had a pretty slow ride down to Richmond and back to EC1 in the cold pissing rain.I gotta say it was hard going, nothing a cup of tea didn't sort out though.
