I am curious as to whether there is a higher incidence of fungal skin infection amongst cycle couriers compared to the general population. Have you ever had to reach for the Clotrimazole?
Well, I've never had an infection myself. Just curious, as cycle couriers spend a lot of time with warm and moist skin - PERFECT conditions for fungal growth
Yea my feet sometimes start to rot, and other places. Topical application of vinegar works amazingly well, usually clears up within a few days. Also of course wash the area well and try to keep it dry. Leave your socks off at all times when at home or when you don't care.
I just had thrush. Itchy and sore like a dose of clymidia, which i also had(years ago). The chemist gave me some anti fungal cream and said it was because I had a newpartner. I rubbed this round the affected area and it seems to have worked.
Yeah I got a foot rash from constantly wearing the same pair of waterproof socks. Have yet to consider a cure as it came on Saturday. Hmmm. Might try antiseptic like Savlon or similar.
Gotta say I've never had a fungal infection. Got chillblains for several winters running a few years back, which was annoying. Had a boil between my scrote and ringpiece a couple of months ago. Didn't notice it until I was getting ready to go out on a Monday morning. Not a great time to be popping boils. Does this help?

Surely it's more likely to be athletes foot isn't it? Lloyds pharmacy does 50g antifungal cream for about £6
