im thinking about investing in a decent jacket for the winter since its feckin FREEZING already, any thoughts? got some cash and i want it to last me and be warm and waterproof, or is this too much to ask....?
Hi Jo, if you aren't on a super tight budget then I recommend the Swrve Milwaukee hoodie. It's supposed to be waterproof but I'm not sure about how it would fair in torrential rain. Good fit and warm (usually only need something light underneath, proper windproof).
my milwaukee soft shell is definitely not waterproof, quick ride from N8 to SW1 and back on tuesday proved that. couldn't recommend it for a full time courierenging- i know emilia rates hers but that was the (now discontinued) goretex version.
