I'm a cyclist whose always lived in London and have a decent geographical/street knowledge for a 'civillian'.
I am going to do The Knowledge to become a black cabbie and think that becoming a cycle courier may help speed this up a bit. Im happy doing grafting hard for a living as long as i dont have to sit in a f****ng office

Was wondering if this is a common chain of thought or if anyone has some advice/experience:

Is there any danger of earning less than £250 a week?
How much endurance should you build up in advance? (miles per day)
How close do you get to jacking it in the winter?

    Yes

You'll build it up quick enough on the job imo

I've thrown my bike in front of a bus only to be dismayed at finding it still in perfect working order meaning I have to carry on working

Yes - during the summer but make sure you get a job at an ok company.

No - spend time avoiding cycling.

Depends how much you enjoy freezing wet feet/how good your waterproofs are.
