    Hi

I have been working as a courier for a few months but have been using the crappy company supplied bag. Does anyone know where I can get a cheap but half decent bag to use. Alternatively if someone has a second hand one then I would be willing to look at that as well

    Cheers

Try the cubby hole next to the security desk in City Point.
Pacs, Timbuks, Chromes, Ortliebs, standard Post Office bags, Guardian bags. Take your pick.
    And they'll cost you nothing.

    Seriously, though.
I could do with a new bag myself. Mine's nice and still more than passable, but it's getting a little frayed around the edges. Anyone seen any good deals on anything respectable?

Bill, those belk bags look alright on the outside. Do you know anyone who has tested them for a long time (i.e. a few years)?

Hey I run Belk Bags with a friend, Hassan.

Our bags are being tested here in London by Jon Eggpie, Jonny Biles (in the next ten days) and soon James Brown. We have another rider in Munich testing. We have designed our bags to be the best out there, we're really happy with how they feel, work and look. We have spent absolutely ages thinking about every little bit of our bags, everything is considered, we have taken the proven courier bag technologies and advanced on them (at least we think so). We have yet to see how they last as none of our bags are over a year old. Our materials are 1000d Cordura and 650gsm liner, our machines are industrial walking foot, and our thread is bonded nylon. So there is no reason why they would suddenly fall apart.

We want to support the courier community as much as possible, so if you have any events you want us to sponsor in a small or big way just get in contact at info@belkbags.com. We are very small at the moment so we might not always be able to help but if we can, we will!

We make both our Backpacks and Sling bags in a Technical or a Simple. The sizes of our bags run from small to extra-large. The Small bags are 18L, the M are 25L, L are 35L and XL are 45L. We try and keep everything as simple and clean as possible so it’s very easy to understand our bags. As a customer you just choose the size, a backpack or sling and whether you need it to be Technical or Simple. Then you’re done.

Sorry if this seems a bit spamy (sorry Bill), just trying to give you a point of contact for Belk if you have any questions. and thanks curly for the compliment (if it was directed at us).

^ Hey Snoops, looks like your london bags aint getting proper testing, Eggpie and Mr Brown are not on the road any more. How about you sling one my way and I'll give it a proper test...

You should probably get them tested in Birmin'am. The weather is colder up here and more damage is caused to fabrics as a result. Hence the destruction of my B*gaboo...

We'd love to have more people out there testing our bags, but at this moment we just don't have the time or money to do it.

If you want a closer look at one just try and pin down one of our riders and have a dig around in their bags. We hope you like them.
