    It's just a long winded process and I hate divulging personal information to whomever it may be.

    i have never been vetted or heard of anyone being vetted. it is conceivably a requirement for certain companies with certain accounts but the mainstream courier companies would probably have trouble finding employees if they were subject to CRB checks :wink:

    Aah! But it isn't the employees who are vetted, it's the couriers.
    I think Lewis Day do vetting but they pay for it. I've been told City Sprint do vetting and the rider has to pay. I somehow doubt that the likes of Churchill Express would have any staff prepared to go near a police station so they probably don't vet riders.

    Lewis Day don't vet you. Maybe if you work on the medical circuit but they don't have bicycles there anymore I don't think.

    @ porno - New Zealand Chris? when did he make the transition? THey tried to tempt loads of us over when they shut down the dedicated push bike circuit but people got disgruntled cause they were'nt making any money. Hope he's doing better now.
