How many of you guys do the job fullish time as in work at least 4 days per week 52 weeks a year and its not a case of been a yeah in my 20s this looks a cool job but serious been doing it year in year out like count basie even though he gos on the motorbikes in the summer Count you should have styarted a union yourself in the hey day as remind me of serious person wh could have made it a decent living for serious people
How many of you work what might be termed full-time, that is, at least four days a week and close to 52 weeks a year like Count Basie (who, admittedly, takes to his motor bicycle during the clement months) rather than taking the more dilettantish approach of a 20-something for whom the appeal of the job is, perhaps, that of perceived 'style' or 'cool' and who's work ethic leaves something to be desired? Mr Count, you could possibly have founded a union in the past as you strike me as a serious chap who's efforts could, by now, have transformed this industry in to one where a serious person earns a reasonable wage commensurate with his or her efforts.
