We finally got The Foundry all to ourselves so come along and have a cheeky xmas drink with us. Go on, go on, go, on, go on, go on, you know you will..
Anyone wanting to know the the whereabouts of the checkpoints for the alleycat in advance should check this coming Sunday's Times magazine supplement, Life & Style.
Oh for **** sake! I'll be in Glasgow. And I was so looking forward to it. Still, you can have the Foundry to yourselves long term when it closes down. Fair place for a squat.
Love "The Wicker Man." It's for Solstice that I'm going up to Scotland. I'll be in Glasgow Friday/Saturday but I'll be heading much further north after that. As a practicing pagan, I'm always up for a bit of sacrificial offering. I'll send you a postcard from one of the most southerly places they have Christianity and a postal service - Aberdeen or Inverness, I'm not sure which my last stop will be.
How come you have so many cyclists at Metro nowadays? I keep seeing people I don't know in Metro gear. Saw one old geezer today. Looked like you, Daz, but he was much older. I thought you only had three or four working at any one time. Must say I was amused last week when I dropped in to deliver and Overdrive was being overly polite to a client over the phone behind the counter that's behind the counter. He can be quite the diplomatic, polite customer service bod if the mood takes him, can't he?
For those of you thinking of racing, it's going to be short and fast, 8 checkpoints, no checkpoint tasks, nothing too far away. Basically a blast around town to work up a thirst then back to the party. £3 entry. Cash for first boy and first girl. Entry open to anyone except Moving Target employees. Bring a bag and a mapbook.
The "Stairs Series"has entered courier folklore. No one else will ever convey with such intellectual profundity what it's like to look down a flight of stairs! Bring on the "Lift Series"!!!
Dazzlenger, i'm glad you finally found my bank. I was thinking of getting Overmoan to organise an alley cat called, "find Zack's bank," but as you already found it, i think you should get 100 points. I based the idea on the Grameen bank# in Bangladesh. Instead of lending to poor peasant folk, i shall lend to couriers all around the globe. I charge no interest, it's just to help enterprising people to get back on their feet and either start a small business or pay their dealer back. You just need to come in, say you know Zack and sign a few forms, then you walk out with a pocket full of pounds. For example, Overlycold can come in, complain how he is always wet and cold, and we will lend him 100 pounds to buy a new rain jacket, it's that easy. I look forward to doing business with you.
Had an excellent time,BIG thanks again to LCEF not just for organising Fri night but also just for being the LCEF. also @ Ben you rock boy, or you Hip-Hop whatever the correct compliment is.
ahhh cheers Gertie. Glad that people seemed to enjoy the show. It was good to play out for the first time in over a year, dust off the cobwebs ;) Nice one to the LCEF and nice one to Sleepy for his rig control. No sound check or testing equipment, u love it :)))))))
