Well, I wish you all the best and hope that works out for you. It could be worse I was thinking about law school. After watching my wife for a bit I realized the pain in the ass to money ratio is actually worse then couriering.
It's not that bad, so far, just that I'd been plodding along at trainee learning rate, then the main controller (who was a right laugh) left so I've had to pay a lot more attention to what's going on rather than watching BMX videos inbetween answering phone calls. It's pretty good! Though yesterday a ridiculous number of jobs came on for today, so I predict today is gonna be hectic as fuck.
Chances are unless your clients are like mine, masters of the three-day weekend but even then every now and then someone tries to screw with that and I take a trip back in time to the nineties and all hell breaks lose. Anyway I hear the best controllers were couriers at one time. I think that's what Bill told me in TO. last year. It's hard to remember as I was trying to drink my share free "Steamwhistle" beer and Bill kept fussing with his crackberry.
