Hi everyone at MT ...total noobie here, basically looking for some advice, don't even know if this is the right place to come but thought i would float my question into the ether and see if gets resolved.
New to london...think cycling is THE BOMB...want to ride everywhere and anywhere ...problem, bikes left in New Zealand.
I don't know this city and really really don't want to end up buying a stolen bike. I keep walking past these beautiful bikes in proper bike shops that are just so pricey....but i really don't want to contribute or support the rats that nick everyone elses ride. ....
can anyone tell me where the places to avoid are ....or even if there is somewhere that does do second hand that is reputable?
Also ( another favour please!)...do you know of any good cycling clubs/groups or whatever....im looking for fun and sound people as opposed to serious full on racers. Like i said im new to this village and i have no buddies to ride with :(
