Aye - it was stunner. I can't get over all the "ZOMG O NOES Wiggins five minutes down" though - for a recently-converted track rider over a series of first-cat climbs that strikes me as a brilliant ride.

Wiggins did himself proud. When was the last time a rider from these shores climbed like he has?
    Go on my son!

I still have to watch the last 10k, then its time to crack open a tinnie and watch the TT.

But what about Tor Horshed? He well Stuck up it up Cav, thats the way to stay in Green. Hopefull Cav will do some Mountain training ready for next years tour and keep the green, though he'll still take the sprint on the Champs Du Elysee.

Armstrong wants Cav on his new team next year so he'll be expected to do better in the climbs I'd say.

Cav's a great sprinter but he needs to learn to engage brain before opening his mouth. (I'm aware that this might be a case of pot kettle black )
  2.
Can Wiggo do better than Millar's 4th place in 84? Can't wait for the Ventoux.

Don't those guys know how to read? The script for today clearly said "A small group of riders well down on G.C. will go away, stay away and the one of them will win the stage."
    Fantastic:bigsmile:
Anyone riding for Astana has got to be a bit suspect no?
@ Bill, Rob not only came in 4th but also won a Jersey (polka-dot) over-all, does 3rd, no jersey and no stage win top that? Probably, but it's worth mentioning. Has to be the best Tour for Britain ever surely whatever happens to Brad tomorrow.

Looking forward to tomorrow now, anyone up for meeting somewhere that shows the Tour?
  4.
If Brad made the podium would that make him better than Bob? Don't know. Millar won the Mountains jersey in the Tour and the Giro, and was 2nd twice in the Vuelta, and 2nd once in the Giro. His grand tour palmares are the best any british cyclist.

Millar's still my favourite. Outsprinting Delgado in 89, with Lemond and Fignon chasing him lives long in the memory.

Let's just say that Brad is the best in 20 years.

It's the kiss and make up Tour, Lance and Contador making up in the end and did you see Cav and Thor finish today:-) My place has Eurosport and a fridge for off-licence priced drinks and you don't have to step outside for a smoke if you'all are looking for somewhere to watch tomorrows stage.
