    Okay the date has finally been finalised. All the logistics have been worked out and there's a healthy prize cache from:

    Skin Grows Back
    Gallus Cycles it's caps not a frame unfortunately.
    Archie's Grobags
    and thanks to Ian at Fixed Mag for arranging a couple of pairs of Vans

    The format will be thus:
    There are two good areas to skid in the park one is short with a brand new tarmac surface the other is long with a less good surface. Qualifying will take place on the short course, if you run out of space you're in the final. The final goes on the long course, if more than two people run out of space ( 700ft ) then it's a fight to the death with tyre levers. There are separate categories for male and female in the skid comp but as Skidtles is a skill/luck event the girls play with the boys. You've got three weeks to get practicing.

    The basic entry fee is £3 on the night for a spoke card and some stickers, the deluxe package which is £8 will get you everything plus a tee shirt.

    The shirt is only available to people who enter the comp ( you only have to do a 1-inch skid ) and to get one you'll have to register.

    Send an email before 11:59pm on Sunday 21st to godhatestyres@houseofpistard.com stating your name and shirt size. Choose from S,M,L,XL or GirlSML, GirlMED. All shirts are white.
    You will pay and pick up the shirt on the night.*
    One shirt per person. If you're not there on the night it'll be sold to someone else.
    There will be a few extras for people who don't have a chance to register but it will be a limited number.


    *Don't email saying you want a shirt but can't make it on the night, you get these tees at a dirt cheap price because you've come out to play.

    Did anyone else see the "skids"event at the Smithfield Nocturne?Ha ha,it was a f*cking shambles,Only two riders managed to actually pull off a decent skid and the rest either fell off or did a pathetic little skid about a foot long!
    There was this big fat bloke trying it too.He was FAT!

    Guys, there's already a thread for dissing the Skidfield Nocturne comp, could you not clutter up this thread with your venom. It's not exactly going to encourage the kids to come out and fall on their arses... which is half the point of a skid comp anyway.
