I stumbled across this site for the first time today as i've been looking to try something new. The last couple of years have been a bit rough for me in my home town so feeling now would be a good time to get out for a while. I love bike racing and biking in general and reckon the world of the courier could suite me for a year or 2. Does anyone have advice on where i could look for employment, also, cheap places to live and any other tips that might come in handy. At present i am clueless about the whole scene, a part of me is imagining you guys are gunna be protective of your work, commision based i hear. ahh well if the case thats a shame but i hope to hear from some hospitable folk :D
Hear from you guys soon i hope :s

p.s lovin readin up on ur mare having a barny about cyclists jumping lights. I hear the southerners like a good moan and the busy life can make a fair few quite negative down there. Classic behaviour when people moaning gets the mare to start wasting his time banging on about pointless crap backed up with no evidence, get him told!
Thanks loads for that mate, i gave them all a call and got nowehere. Because i don't live in London non of them wanted to take me on, and of course untill i get one to agree to trialing me, i can't really come down. Any ideas?
Well no one is going to take on someone with no experince if they don't live in the city. Those are the starter companies. Otherwise try manchester.. anyone know what jonny's companny is called?
