Hi, its Tomkov here from Tour de Ville Eindhoven.

Visiting London next week (opening of Tour de Ville London shop) and would like to know the where-abouts of second hand cd shops. Jos doesn't have a clue - the dumb downloading piece of s*.

I'm old and and like to have cds.

Please help me out so i dont end up cycling all over town.. to end up in HMV.

"I'm old and and like to have cds." - guess that makes me ancient/near-dead as a vinyl junkie? :)
Demise of many excellent second hand/charity shops over last few years is beyond depressing...

Apart from the above check Flashback (Angel end of Essex Rd)-one of the last survivors...

alot of good second hand cd and vinyle shops have closed in london over the last couple of years so apart from the places that everyone have already suggested and if you like the smell off these cellars like i do you can find more on amazon and the like for just as cheap really, sorry I cant be of more help

music and video exchange are feckin ace- they have lots of branches but i favour the berwick st and camden hi st for my techno/breakbeat/electro vinyl addiction. i'm sure you'll find stuff you like there though i'm not sure about their listening policy on cds, you can't listen to vinyl before you buy but the prices are silly.

Akeley! Fellow vinyl junkie! The best vinyl is still in Brighton - Brixton by the sea. Lotsa good ones down in the lanes, but don't miss a shop called The Record Album, which is right by the station.
Had the best times shopping in Be-right-on - this one shop, when I took my selection to the guy, he went 'right - taste check!', and proceeded to grade my choices. Total vindication!
