    What's the best hat for Winter to wear under a lid & keep your tabs warm?

    The beanie, the tuke, the chullo, call it what you like surely it has to be the best, provided it's not too warm and your head starts to melt when you knock out a W12 flat chat.

    There are many made for fitting under helmets; Campag make one for example. You don't want an ordinary thick hat that will leave your helmet perched on top of your head like a walnut on a cake.

    I'm not rich by any means but what about the Rapha one ? or has anyone got a Labgear merino beanie?

    I'm rocking the rapha cap at the moment.It's got flaps that cover my massive jugs of beers.
    It is very warm too.
