    Hey there guys, I saw this bloke with what seemed like a fixed gear bicycle with a freewheel, so he had the easy maintanence of a fixie with the practicality of a freewheel to cruise through sharp turns without clippng ur pedal against the road. Is this possible, or can you only have a fixed gear bicycle with a fixed wheel?

    If you put a FREE-wheel on, it is no longer a FIXED-wheel.

    I think you are getting the number of gears confused with the drive mechanism.

    Maybe you spotted a bicycle thief. I hear they ride free wheels all the time.

    (Hat, coat, door etc.)

    oops, ive looked on other fourms and ive got confused, sorry. You can get a SINGLE SPEED freewheel, now i understand. :bigsmile:
