I am better known as the fat ginger who lived on the "steps" until I had to start working for a living at City Sprint. I never lived the "courier lifestyle" but have been on the road since 2000 and it has been my pleasure to meet and work with many great characters over those years.

I have been offered a real good opportunity to work in local bike shop and think it is worth a try. Might be hard to settle into it but suck it and see.

So to all I met and worked with over the years it has been a real (yes I mean it) pleasure. I have had a great time and don't have one grumble about anything or anyone. I will make sure to keep supporting the Emergency Fund as it does a excellent job and once you have done this job you appreciate what people go through to try to make a living.

All the best guys and stay safe.

    Jim

ps. maybe I should send extra thanks to the controller team at City Sprint coz I may need to return if this job goes tits-up :)

it was a pleasure sharing the road (and the steps) with you. i hope the bike shop goes well, they've rehabilitated many messengers in the past and some have even been released back into the real world.
