This is just a clever bit of viral marketing...

but it’s quite funny. There’s one of these signs in the control room at Creative (and, no doubt, a few other control rooms). All yesterday the radio was crackling with the mewlings of dying kittens…
The original is here
Anyone bothered to find out what it is that they are advertising? Not that I want to know what it is, more wondering if the marketing had worked.

“an independent creative agency dedicated to … hard-working creative excellence … whatever we turn our mind to … we attack it with energy, originality and a smile on our faces.”
cnuts i think is the word they were looking for

It’s not even original. The masturbating version has been around for years and, unfortunately, is true.LINK

shit, i’m a one man kitten genocide

So i delivered to karmarama yesterday and asked what is that all about.Been told that the cycling members of their team are against running red and blah blah blah…
And guess what-the only bicycles parked in that office were two track bikes…

See there’s the problem, they think it’s all cool, edgy and innovative. If you had a single ounce of passion in your bodies you’d have written it in cheap white emulsion 6 foot high across the road, preferably in the advanced stop box. No courage these media types.

Hopefully this will come back in a search engine soon. Karmarama.com = shit cnut un creative wank kitten cyclist.
karmarama – don’t hire these cnuts! Red lights are for cars. err ...cnut!

I just read the blurb on their web-site…
jeepers! what a bunch of idiots. They must be best mates with Ken. Yet another case of cyclists self-hatred. We should get stickers to put on their incoming parcels saying something like “this delivery was made without respect for the Highway Code” or “red lights are for losers” or “special rules for special people”
>severe sense of humour failure<

Thanks for the updates, westcoast and selimski. Makes this whole web-site thing worth-while….

Apologies for clogging up your Inbox…
Cyclists and kitten though – it’s the kind of attention seeking ‘wacky’ campaign that sadly most people have come to expect from self-styled ‘independent creative’ types. A quiet day in the office? All potential new clients killed off by cyclists?
Instead of being so negative, why not highlight the benefits of cycling in the city, rather than conforming to the usual mainstream knobber media myth that ALL cycling = danger.
Cycling in London isn’t dangerous. Pedestrians walking out in front of cyclists is.
I’m actually on the look out for an ‘independent creative’ to help me with a future campaign for my company.
On yer bike, etc.
Apologies again for no doubt mailing the wrong person.

So onionbag, are they now collectively ‘king knobbers #2’?
— Bill May 31, 08:44 PM #
every time a courier jumps any color of light, god makes a big effort getting him killed
— haute courier Jun 1, 09:11 AM #
onionbag – great comment. Why the f-ck don’t they do a campaign on left turning cars/lorries that don’t indicate? They are the main reason I jump at least the stop line at lights.
