Report and Results here.
The seventh edition of the London bicycle messenger culture extravaganza featuring beats, beer and static bicycle roller racing is happening this month upstairs at the Horseshoe pub Clerkenwell Close EC1. Qualifying starts at 5pm, and the event runs til midnite. Each rider will be do a qualifying ride, and will be seeded accordingly. Then the knockout will start, with the top seeds matched against the lowest seeds in the earliest rounds. We will aim to start the knockout rounds at 8pm. We will aim to try and fit in the guys who are coming up from Calshot at the end, so if you are riding Calshot on Saturday and want to do a qualifying time call me and let me know you are coming! My number is 07896 421 556. General entry is £5.
More details will follow, but I can tell you that the racing will be taking place on a much improved set of rollers. So you’ll all have to learn how to spin all over again.
The story of why Rollapaluza VI did not happen deserves it’s own post, but if you want to check out the last London cycle courier roller race, click here for report, results, pics and video.
