London's Calling (CMWC Pre-event) Meeting June 17th, London Fields
14.06.07 by Buffalo Bill

London’s Calling is the Pre-event of the 2007 Cycle Messenger World Championship, which is in Dublin this year, August 3rd to 7th. It is taking place the week-end before the CMWC, Thursday 26th July, at various locations around London, and finishes with the start (if you see what I mean) of the London to Dublin ride on 31st July. A planning meeting for the event is taking place this Sunday 4pm on London Fields, behind the pub.

On a side note, Shane tells me that the Dublin messengers are really up for the World’s, and are expecting 800 competitors. Looks like the Dublin messenger crew are putting on a proper welcome for the CMWC which has not been held in Europe since 2002.

  1. I went over there for the St Paddys Day Massacre last year and it was fucking awesome. They were already planning out the worlds in detail. I’m sure it’s gonna be amazing this year.
