Cycle Messenger World Championships
2.08.07 by Buffalo Bill

So after the pre-event comes the main event. London’s Calling was fun, but the fifteenth CMWC is the real thing. Looking at the list of registered riders, London has the biggest posse. Of course.
- Will Brooke-Smith / 22
- Gertie / 30
- Mrs. Gertie / 31
- Ross Allan / 99
- Josh Gregory / 346
- Nik Vowles / 50
- Selim Selimski / 201
- Tofu / 300
- Bingalo Buff / 277
- Justyna CoCo / 182
- Sara Kwiecinski / 786
- Wayne ‘Le Pike’ Jackson / 211
- Crazy Dave / 37
- Sara-Jane / 322
- Daniel Cordoba / 15

Naturally the final count is likely to be at least twice, perhaps three times this number. But can London improve on its record-smashing performance at the 2005 European Cycle Messenger Championships? Remember: 15 riders, 0 qualifiers. I wait with bated breath.
I also look forward to seeing in what shape the London – Dublin riders arrive in. Having participated in 3 Alleycats, 1 Rollapaluza and a lot of partying, they will have added 400 miles across South West England to their score.
I am also eagerly anticipating seeing old friends (and Andy Zalan). See you in Dublin!
