British track bike riders best in the world
30.03.08 by Buffalo Bill
I try not to write about mainstream cycle sport, as there are many great writers out there who do it much better. However, it is nice to see brakeless fixies in the British media for the right reason – winning races at the Track World Championships. British riders rule! If you are in the UK, you can watch all of the BBC’s comprehensive coverage on the iPlayer here for the next few days. See if you can spot our favourite MCR fixie rider Aunty Nasty in the track centre dispensing the wisdom that has made her a legend amongst messengers.

I tried to watch Nasty in action but it’s only available to UK viewing? Did they edit out all the Aussies? Hats off to the Brit Track Team.
I race with the Malaysian Nat. Team as they train at the same track. Awesome to be able to try and hold onto the wheel of world class riders.
Enjoy the shortlived glory.

British Track stars of yesteryear. Cyril Bardsleys is where I bought my racing gear. I still remember him laughing at my tri bars.
